Case 192Xa - You can read the sign, “CASE” high up on the front of the building. It is right beside the Motor Inn Garage. I believe that the next two photos were taken in the 1920s, and possibly in the early 1920s. That was about when they installed those cool looking street lights and paved the streets in town. Actually the next two photos are from the same negative. I think that I see the building in the left of the photo, which was much later occupied by the Jolly Mill and then the next building, I think was the roof of the Scenic City Co-op building which was built on the southeast corner of Mill and Second, but it is a bit hard to tell for sure. - Roger Breckenridge

  • St Catherines and Parsonage 1920s - St. Catherine's first church was built in 1884, it was then called "Our Lady of the Cataract" (in Latin Lady of the Falls). The rectory was erected in 1897 and the brick church structure in 1914. The old wood church still has a presence in RF. It was cut in two and made into houses. One is on Broadway--one hundred east, and the other on 2nd. The latter is the home of Randy Dahmes. The brick church and rectory came down in 1982 upon completion of the east side of today's church.<br />
